It seems like the days of separate copier and printer techs have gone away for many of us, most of the people visiting here work on everything their company's manufacturers make so I think it's best to merge the Fax and copier sub-forums to make it easier to search and also help prevent people from posting good content in the wrong channel?
Example: Merge the Kyocera Copier channel with the Kyocera Fax/Printer channel.
This was a project I wanted to start a few years ago but the issues we were having with the site/database kept me from moving more than a few threads at a time without crashing the site. I think this is a good way to go, let me know if you have any ideas on the topic.

Since office equipment has gone digital, the lines of definition between printers, fax, and MFP's, have been blurred for more than 10 years. In my own file storage, I find that I have duplicates in the three separate folders. It only makes sense to merge the three to a singe folder sorted by manufacturer.
I'm going to make a guess that it's a huge project to get that all re-sorted. Mostly addressing, yes? It might be a convenient time to add a few headers: Epson, Okidata ... you get the idea.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The move functionality is built into the system so it's easy enough, it just needs to be done in smaller chunks to keep server loads manageable. And yes, a few more channels will be added.

I see that you have pretty much gotten everything merged. I have two questions:
Are the manufacturers sub-forums now going to stay in the same columns where they are now or will they continue to move like they have been while you were doing the merge.
Are people still going to be able to post to the top level Forum "Copirs, Printers, and MFPs. In other words am I still going to have to check there for new threads?

1- I need to fix a few sorting issues but the basic layout will stay. I'm contemplating what to do with some legacy brands that take up space and get very little traffic. I thought about a "Legacy Brands" sub-forum I could move them into. (Muratec, Panasonic, Samsung...) but I'm not doing it anytime soon.
2¡ªNo, that forum is now closed for new topics. The posts that were in there have been moved to "Other Brand" and will be slowly sorted to where they should be. That was a setup error years ago, and it always bugged me.

2- Good. I won't need to check it anymore. There was a time when they were where I found a lot of SPAM.
