[Misc] Canon IR Advance 6055 - The Photocopy Result is faded at the bottom of the paper

I am an end user
My hired tehcnician already done a lot of things to solve this problem
The photocopy result is faded at the bottom of the paper

perhaps already spent more than 40 hours
still not solved
i live in the city where there is just one technician
he can handle very well my others canon machine
this one is really stresfull
please, really need advice to solve this problem?

We need to know what he's done so far. There's wires, the developer cylinder, possible bad toner, clean out dv unit and start fresh, transfer belt, dirty optics, etc. Tell him to post.

I just had a similar problem. There may be a broken gear on the back of the developing unit or the stirring rod inside of developing unit might be broken

Does the technician or yourself have the service manual ? if so there is a troubleshooting section covered in there.

I have 3 canon ir Advance 6055
Machine 1 : the faded result
machine 2 : in good condition
machine 3 : in good condition

the things that have been done is:
1. Changing wires, not solved
using wires parts from machine 2.. not solved

2. Developer units.
Check developer unit.
using developer unit from machine 2.. not solved

3. ETB part (1 unit transfer belt)
using etb part from machine 2.. not solved

4. Cleaning the laser unit
not solved

5. Drum unit
Move 1 unit drum from machine 2 to machine 1 .. not solved

6. Change the developer motor unit in the back machine
i don't know what exactly what is that part called

he tried all that things in just one hour..
change the complete part.. still has a faded result

The technician have never done this before
change the part in one set from machine 2 to machine 1
he just focus the troubled machine...

is that possible because of the gear in the back machine
by the way, machine no.1 already five years old

i already have a joke with the technician. maybe i need to change technician
he fixed my machine for about 12 years.

Try swapping the Pre-registration Assembly and PCB that's under it. I've had white "snowflakes" or speckles on images when that PCB failed.

Also check the connection on the etb cleaning assembly/swap it, I once forgot to plug it back in once and my weird jam went away (paper just flipped over before reaching the fuser)...but the image became faded.

Did he clean the laser filter ?
did u made clear Dc for the machine
it looks its toner cylander problem broken gear or the stiring roller is broken
is it from first copy made this , are you making a copy or Print ?

Both print and copy, have faded result..
try print .. still has faded result (this is to make sure that this is not a scanner problem)
try copy .. same problem

He have tried using 1 unit developing from machine 2 or 3.
and .. same problem

already 10 days.. not solved yet
if the problem solved, i will tell you guys immediately

Both print and copy, have faded result..
try print .. still has faded result (this is to make sure that this is not a scanner problem)
try copy .. same problem

Replace laser unit.

There were many revisions to these Developers. If swapping them doesnt solve I would be looking at the lasers and checking the values. Maybe some mirror trouble in the laser?
