Bizhub c308 dead network card/module?
So recently, my office was hit with a massive electrical surge from a nearby lightning strike. We had to replace several pieces of equipment, including our switch and some fried cabling.
Our Konica c308 was working fine, until with morning, when it decided to stop communicating with the network.
We've tried swapping ports on the switch, and a Cat5e cable, without success.
At the moment, I have it connected via USB, and shared through a desktop PC, which is obviously not ideal.
My question is this: Does this machine have a replaceable 'network card' or something similar? If so, does anyone have the part number please?
Thanks in advance for any advice. This forum has been so valuable in keeping my personal 364e and this c308 up and running over the years. What a treasured resource!
Bad news. It's MFP board integrated so unless anyone can repair it you have to replace it.

Well that's no good! :/
When you say replace it, do you mean the MFP board or the whole machine?
Is there any way to perform additional testing to confirm that the networking portion of the board is indeed dead, and it's not just something else I've overlooked?
It seems odd that this thing would be working perfectly, and just suddenly up and die. Of course, everything has to quit at some point, but typically it's in conjunction with an event, such as a power surge or brownout or whatever. This event was about a week ago...
I'm sorry to bring the bad news ?
We had it one like this and end up replacing MFP. It was in big office with many machines so go figure out why...

That's doable, maybe. Can you suggest a part #, or where to find it?
We love this copier, and are willing to put some money/effort into getting it back up and running fully again.
I have some experience working on KM copiers, so if I have a Svc Manual and the right parts, I have a decent chance of completing the repair successfully, perhaps with a few tips from the experts here, of course.

There is specific procedure but you can use used board with some knowledge. I will dig my database and come back to you with PM if you're interested.

Planning ahead, in case I'm not able to fix this machine, and I end up having to replace it...
Is anyone aware of a good resource that compares Bizhub models? I mean, what's the difference between a c354e and a c368? Which is newer/faster/fancier? I know there has to be a fairly simple system for how to tell the age and capabilities of these machines, I just don't know it, and it's making it difficult to research options.
So I've searched all over for the UK-212, and no one reputable appears to have it in stock in the US. Do you know of anywhere to get one that's not super shady? I did find a place called Floridaink.com that claims to have them, but I've never heard of those folks. Any thoughts?
As for the module itself, the installation looks fairly simple. Thanks for that guide!
You could try to send the MFP board into https://www.hytecrepair.com/ They should be able to fix the board.
Otherwise boards from a C258, C308, or C368 can be made to work. If you find a used board let me know and I can write down the procedure.
