I need some of your advice, recently I replaced the MPFB for a bizhub 215 (i know these models are ancient) it got a bad short circuit which also fried the Network board. which i replaced too. The problem here is the network board seemed to work fine the leds are blinking, i get a response when i ping, i can access the web connection and see it online on the driver but when i send any document or test to get it printed it never reaches the printer, but the job doesn't get stuck or shows any error on the driver.
I tried reinstalling the driver, Reset the spool service, a different cable, connecting it directly to the computer or send a test through web connection but nothing worked.
Could it be that the board is faulty? it even came with the NIC cable, i should also mention that this board is used came from another printer which i don't have access to.
Maybe a firmware update can fix this? I tried to get it from My Konica website but i think they took them all down
There are 2 types of network cards: PCL and GDI
If you have GDI installed try PCL driver or vice versa.
The other possible scenario is that you have the version of network card for bizhub 226 which has the same name, which I'm not sure it will work on bizhub 215.
if you can access the web connection try to direct print a document or print a config page.
if that is successful it sounds like a driver issue to me as well.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
The medication helps though...

Thank you for your suggestion, I'm not sure which one I have, I still have the original one, I'm gonna compare them and try a different driver to see if it works. I'm not sure if I have the 226 model, this one was advertised for 195,215,225 but I'll try your suggestion thank you

Thank you for your reply, yes I already tried printing a config page, it came out well but when I tried a different document I only got many pages with symbols, which driver you suggest? I'm using PCL should i try with PS?
ive only installed PS drivers when i can, make sure the port settings are set to RAW and 9100 using an IP not WSD garbage port.
maybe try a network initialization but usually when you see ASCI and wingdings on a print its the wrong driver every time.

I may second that.
P.S. Normally replacing main board will require firmware update too.

i 99% of the time installed PS driver because the font table is larger, PDFs are printed as they were designed formatted correctly on the page, rarely font substitution and the colors were more vibrant.
PCL is fine for M$ office stuff, PS always seemed to print faster for me too.
20+ years i worked on production machines and Fierys and postscript was always a better choice for speed and quality.
im honestly just biased for PS, PCL was just meh for quality. and on PRO series thats the demand.

Got any tricks for speeding up Postscript on a Bizhub? I've got a few computers that are Postscript only and they print really really slow. The copier just hangs and chugs on them before it spits out the first page.
Worked in IT for 12 years from Helpdesk up to System Administrator. Now working as the IT Manager at a copier company for the last 5 years.
Hi everyone, thank you for your suggestions, I have an appointment with my client later this week and I'll try them all and update you, I think I must add that both the MFPB and network board are second hand taken from a different printer.
