Hi,
Got this C250ci, customer called for a blue image, a stroke at the bottom, see picture
Changed the Cyan PCU unit for a new one, thought it was solved, but returned the next day...
Now went back again with a new Developer Unit Cyan, no results !!
What causes this problem, not so much experience on this model
Thanks is advance .
Cyan drum and developer unit are way too expensive I think no way you put new ones. Am I wrong?
A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
I would still pull the belt and check the Cyan 1st transfer roller, it's possible the cyan transfer roller holder is broken and the roller is always pressing on the drum (I've had these broken out of the box before). On your meter sheet, which should just be Black, you have cyan and your black is also light on that same side. Make sure you clean the laser lenses below the drums. Make sure you are cleaning the contacts behind the drum and developer units.

This sounds like very good advice to me, it's strange the cyan is showing on the mono counter page, when it should be mono only. Although, I have had this when a colour drum has gone (on the counter page again), even though the colour transfer rollers should be disengaged, which is really weird. Perhaps Konica are trying to wear the drums quick by keeping the transfer rollers engaged, certainly the drums don't last anywhere near as long on these units, even though the drum cylinder, blade and toner (apparently,) are the same as the 8 series range.
Were the cyan drum & developer new "genuine" Kon/Min or aftermarket? if you pull drum out can you see toner built up on that end? I still think something is going on with the drum. Maybe a few of the LED's are bad or dirty on edge of erase lamp?
Looks like if paper is changed in other direction it would miss edge of drum and would have clean prints until you get issue sorted out?
no, there is no toner built up at that end on the drum
