There is special firmware for that, GC4-RB. It is pretty old. If you look and the detail code history of the counter and see a lot of abort codes.
This is from the firmware pdf,
14. A machine reboots with detail code 0x1FFF/0x2201900000000100
If that firmware does not fix, then the CPU board is bad.
+1 on what Kenpio advised. Just had this on another C300i and it ended up being a bad cpu. There is a diagnostics firmware that can confirm if your CPU is failing or your Storage Board is bad. We just got a newer release a few days ago, GXX-44. Same process as running FW, theres a step by step guide to follow as well and found in the support portal.

That tool never has worked for me. It just always says eveythings ok when it isn't. Not saying it doesn't work its just not very reliable
We had it once like this did everything possible but ended up being bad CPUB.

I have yet to have the GXX tool ever determine that anything is bad. I've been told by one tech that he had one GXX tool misdiagnose the Storage Board as bad when it was the CPUB.
Check the MML. Lots of 0X1FFF 0X2201900000000100 codes and it is the CPUB every time. If you still get 2 to 3 reboots a day (different code) the recover data corrupted your new CPUB. You will need to use the reset tool and repartition the storage board to clear the corrupted data. You'll loose the meter, but when you're done, you have a working machine again.
You can check to see if you are getting the CPU overheats in service mode.
Service mode, counters, page 2, Detail Code History. It will show you the 0X1FFF codes and the date and time of when they occurred.
would it be easier to just replace the cpu? if that diagnostic tool doesnt work for some it certainly wont work for me lol
thanks all
I have spare machines I could just swap if that was easier.. it does not give any codes on the screen when it shuts off.. the market place feature is also disabled

Have you printed a management list from it? On the detail codes section look for:
0x1FFF
0x2201900000000100
If you see that ^ your CPU is probably dead.
I would run the newest version of the diag tool as well. It now checks for more SSD failures. They released it recently. GXX-44 is the latest.

Worked in IT for 12 years from Helpdesk up to System Administrator. Now working as the IT Manager at a copier company for the last 5 years.
I will have to get there and run a machine managment list thank you

You don't have to run a management list to see if you have the 0x1FFF codes.
It's a lot quicker to go into service mode and go to:
Counter
Go to page 2
Detail Code History
It will list all of the detail codes with date and time, as well as by month and each separate code.
