I have a Konica Minolta Bizhub C250i and wanting to reset the market place for a new customer to use it to be able to scan to email using office 365 apparently there's a app on market place which supports office 365, any help with the reset us appropriated.

As far as I'm aware, the previous owner needs to remove it from their account - probably should've been done before they gave it back

I'm a little confused..is the App already loaded into the marketplace?
Here's what you should be doing..
1. The customer needs to create a marketplace account.
2. The customer needs to purchase the required app.
3. You would log into the marketplace with the new account info.
4. Go to purchased tab and download.
5. Configure App in marketplace
6. Sign into app after launching. You must have an established account to use..

I thought maybe it's something that can be reset, then set up to the new customer, however the serial number being registered to the existing account it can't be done.

does it link to a account? i thought it just connected to what ever marketplace account signed into it. ive logged in to 2 separate accounts of marketplace on one device with no problems

It keeps saying can't connec, to check network connection however it's got a ethernet cable plugged into it.
you need a good gateway and DNS to reach the outside world.
in admin mode in network you can ping like google.com or msn or some other live site. if ping fails that machine is not on the internet. intranet maybe but not allowed outside the IP range.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.

It was giving the same message in my workshop and at the customer's site when ever I select the marketplace app on the home screen.

have you checked gateway and DNS and ping'd an outside web address successfully?
if not, id start there.
shotgun approach-->do a network initialization and use DHCP to verify connection to the outside world by pinging a web address in admin mode successfully.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
